What is STEAM?  Steam stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts + Mathematics

This program is available for KIDS  from ages Kindergarten -5th Grade!!

The program will explore a new topic each quarter throughout the year.

This is offered as a free program and a monthly activity is included.  A Discovery Event will be held once a quarter for all members.

Interested in our newest program?  Ask a librarian for details!

The Latest STEAM Project is DNA! Learn what DNA is and why it is important! Now Available at the FRONT DESK!

Our STEAM Program is now entering its fourth unit — biology. The new bulletin board is up at the library and our first experiment kits are now also available (making DNA strands). Ask a librarian about getting one the next time that you go to the library. As always, we encourage you to check out books surrounding biology and the science of life. Additionally, keep an eye out for our upcoming STEAM podcast series! Finally, mark your calendars for this quarter’s STEAM night — March 18th at 6:30 at the library!

Thank you all,
