The Board of Trustees of the Sheridan Public Library has decided to close the library until further notice.  This includes the cancellation of all scheduled programs and community room activities. The board and staff have our patrons and community as our highest priorities.  Based upon advice from the experts in the field of the Coronavirus, we believe that closing the library until the crisis passes is the best method of keeping our patrons and staff safe and healthy.

While SPL is closed, we encourage you to keep your borrowed materials.  The Drop box will be closed.  All due dates have been extended.  Additionally, no fines will be charged during this time.

The library has a vast collection of digital materials, such as E-Books, Audio Books + Magazines (Children, Teen + Adult).  All are available for free with your library card!

Visit- or to sign in.

We encourage patrons to continue using the library through Overdrive.  For information on how to access electronic readers, please call the library staff at 317-758-5201.
